On September 19, 2023, a delegation of the Institute of Tropical Technology (ITT) under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) visited Belarusian State Technological University. The Vietnamese delegation was headed by Dr. Tran Dai Lam, ITT Director and included members from other research centres, such as Nha Trang Institute of Technology Research and Application (NITRA) represented by its Director Dr. Pham Duc Thinh.

The parties met to discuss collaboration activities to be implemented within the framework of the bilateral Agreement of Cooperation which was previously signed in Hanoi in June this year. The discussion covered a wide range of prospective cooperation areas such as mineral fertilizers technology and production, anticorrosion protection of metals, production of composite materials based on carbon nanomaterials and biodegradable polymers.
